SGI 1.0.0.2110C Released to Beta

It's here; finally.

SGI 1.0.0.2110C is available for public consumption as an open Beta. You will almost certainly run into bugs - so... downloader beware!

There are three releases available, Windows, Mac, and GNU Linux.

You only need to download the package for your operating system, as it will compile your game to all three platforms (that's why the download is big!) You do not need to compile your game on all three platforms.

There is a quickstart guide available at https://kyami.io/docs/sgi/1.0.0.2110C/quickstart.html which steps you through the download and build process for a game project. There is no demo game code available yet, however if you have a load of time on your hands, you might just be able to figure out how to make a game without it by using the API documentation provided. (Good luck!)

In the coming weeks I hope to provide a very simple template game that contains all the inner workings of the engine, rooms, characters, etc, without you needing to try and decipher the API documentation, which isn't exactly user friendly. But I'll sort that out, give me a bit more time!

However fundamentally, all the tools and documentation exists for you to make your own game. Happy game making!

KS.
